Richard
Kuklík
was born in Prague, Czech Republic in 1964. Today, he is one of the
leading
Czech producers of marionettes.
Mr.
Kuklík makes
his marionettes with an absolute eye for detail. Each marionette is an
original in and of itself with its own personal character, humour
and charm. Each finished piece evokes an unlimited expanse of fairy
tale
and fantasy. |
Richard
Kuklík has worked in several areas of crafts - all of which have helped
him to develop his manifold talents to the fullest. A longterm love of
carving, pictorial art, a feeling for harmony and the combining of
various
materials, imagination - including the art of solving technical and
technological
problems - all come together to create his life's dream: To be a great
marionette-maker.
In
his small
Prague atelier, he has gathered a few friends around himself - artisans
- who have also succumbed to the magic of creating marionettes - for
both
the young and the young at heart. |
All RICI marionettes are
made of non-harmful
substances. This includes the paints used also. At RICI, it is our goal
to increase the range of available products. Since all products are
hand-made,
each is essentiallly an original work of art in and of itself. All RICI
marionettes are patented. All patents apply not only to the technical
design
of the marionettes, but also to their overall appearance, type and
character
as marionettes.
Marionettes containing
solid wire
construction elements are packed for better shipping with the head
separed
from the body. Assembly of the head and body is simple, however: put
the
hook extending from the neck of the head of the marionette into the eye
extending from the body of the marionette.
Pull
down gently to fix
the attachment
of the head to the body.
